Baby Beach in 4D 11-10-05
We just got back from the 4D ultrasound. Baby Beach had his hands in front of his face for the beginning of the ultrasound. After a brief break, he finally decided to move his hands enough that we could see part of his face. Below are the best 3D shots we got of him. Who does he look like to you?
Little hands to the face
Sleeping on his left hand
Cute nose and eyelashes
Hand to the face again
Look at my beautiful little lips

28 Weeks for Mr. Chubby Cheeks!
Baby Beach is now 28 weeks and looking great! He weighs 2lbs 10 oz now! The first thing the ultrasound technician commented on was his chubby cheeks so now he'll be known as Mr. Chubby Cheeks! He is still looking great! They even commented on how beautiful and big his brain is! Way to go baby!! :) It was very cool to see all of the different parts and how his brain has developed over the past 3 weeks!
As always, he was playing with his head the entire time. He was also sticking out his tongue a lot again, and had a big smile on his face! We've been noticing that unlike a lot of babies, he doesn't seem to care if someone taps around my belly at him. A lot of babies don't like that and will move, he just sits there! The tech was poking at his elbow to get him to move his arm, but didn't have any luck! It was pretty funny!
My fluid level appears to have dropped since the accident, so I am increasing my water intake and napping on my left side for 2 hours every afternoon to hopefully increase it. It is nothing to worry about, we are still 2 points above the critical level, but it will be nice to have a mandatory nap in the afternoons!
In my opinion, the pictures this time around are not quite as good as last time. However, we did get a great picture of his face (you can see the cheeks) and you can even see his first tooth bud if you look directly below his nose (it is the white spec in the middle of his mouth).
